We are not required to notify you if your application is ignored, so please make sure to carefully read and follow all rules. Application Rules: * You must identify as BOTH black AND transgender. Not one or the other. You must identify as BOTH. *You MUST answer *every* question on the application, including the ones about social media. *TRIPLE-CHECK that your email is spelled correctly when submitting the application. This is how we will correspond with you. *This is an EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND. Please DO NOT apply if you do not have a genuine emergency or need. *Please DO NOT apply if we have provided you with RENT assistance in the past four (4) months. This is to ensure that we can help as many people as possible. *Please DO NOT submit for affirmative surgery. That is a separate cycle that we hope to open soon. Things To Note: *Starting with this new cycle, we sre no longer doing RENT waitlists that exceed a wait time of longer than a month. If you are accepted, you will receive your payment by the end of the month. No need to follow up. *We accept 25-30 applicants per cycle, depending on how much each applicant needs. *Because we receive hundreds of applications per cycle, we reserve the right to deny any applications that do not meet the aforementioned guidelines. A failure to answer any questions WILL result in your application being denied. We reserve the right to not follow up with you if your application has been rejected. *If you are accepted during this application cycle, we WILL notify within a week. *If you do not receive an acceptance email from us in one week from submitting your application, you are allowed to apply during the NEXT application period (next month).
