USG officially opened its doors for business as U.S. Gypsum in 1902 in the old Woman's Temple building on the southwest corner of LaSalle and Monroe streets in Chicago, IL. Today, the company still calls the city of Chicago home with our headquarters on West Adams Street near Union Station!
