My goal in the Bahamas was to get my first hogfish. I had only seen these crazy looking fish in photos but have heard over and over again how delicious they are. On day one of this trip, @camkirkconnell and @perrinjames1 who grew up diving the Bahamas kept spotting them and pointing them out, but @stevenrinella and I were still fumbling with our new polespears and repeatedly blowing our opportunities. We finally got our acts together quick enough to shoot a few hogs each. This one in particular made us all exceptionally giddy. I stuffed and breaded the fillets and served it alongside grilled lobster cheese sandwiches and lobster bisque! I also brought some home to Buddy the purist, who enjoyed it as sashimi.
