We’ve got a little bit of exciting lineup modification. We’re SO pleased to welcome Seattle/NYC’s T.Wan to the music lineup, Travis L. Williams to the speakers lineup, and Tyler Ashley, The Dauphine to the drag lineup! T.Wan @tiffwanee hails from Seattle via NYC. We’re long-time fans, and her sound is a wide ranging ride across house and techno. She’s someone we’ve had on mind for Campout for a while, so we’re excited to get to expedite this booking. She’s also perfectly placed at The Grove to give us the late-night business. Buckle up! Dr. Travis Leonard Williams (he/him) @broccoli_funk is an environmental sociologist working at the intersections of race, culture, and ecology. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Virginia Commonwealth University, and is also the creator of a multi-year dialogic symposium and public forum called Racial Ecologies of the South. The symposium highlights and supports the work of grassroots community organizers and critical scholars working in his same fields in the southern U.S. Tyler Ashley, The Dauphine @tylerjashley is a choreographer and performer based in Brooklyn, NY, with their own performances having been presented by Performa, Friends of the High Line, Times Square Alliance, NADA Art Fair, BOFFO, and seen at Art Basel, The Knockdown Center, The Chocolate Factory, Movement Research, Danspace Project and more. Ashley is also known as The Dauphine of Bushwick - a nightlife personality, performer, and promoter. This is what’s in store for us, and it’s going to be FIERCE. We can’t wait. We also want to congratulate Brontez Purnell on having a long awaited personal project picked up and sent until production suddenly. We're so excited for you, and can't wait to have you back for a future Campout edition.
