The Machane Yehuda market is one of my favorite places in Jerusalem and to be there the day before Rosh Hashana was extra exciting! What locals call “the shuk” is a mostly open-air market with over 250 vendors that sell all kinds of delicious foods, wines, but also housewares and textiles that are special to Jerusalem.
