Staying at a place off the beaten path has its advantages when night sky photography is on your bucket list... apart from the cabin lights, there was no light pollution, so facing in the opposite direction of this photo I was able to get a series of Milky Way shots to use for stacking (the photo shown here is a single shot, but even with all the lights, the Milky Way is still clearly visible)!
