I can’t believe it’s finished. The restoration of Vinnie & Dimebag’s 1997 Lincoln Town Car limousine took seven months and a SHIT ton of money. But after getting YOUR help and finding Enrique Herrera & his team from @platinumbigtoys in Corona, CA to lead the passion project to completion, the most legendary Heavy Metal limo is back on the road. The transformation of what it was to what it is now is a complete mindfuck. It was worth a few hundred dollars when I inherited it from Vinnie’s estate last August. Lying in the Vegas sun rotting and rusting away, no one wanted the burden of fixing it up. They gave it to me believing that I would do “something cool” with it. They know that I am a massive fan of the Abbott Brothers that is full of good intentions. Honestly, it’s been really stressful, and has taken up so much of my time. I invested more than just money into it, and I’ve grown attached and now I’m in love with this vehicle. There is so much history with this limo, and I definitely feel far beyond blessed to be the chosen one to carry on its legacy. After having this limo for a week, the thing I realize is that I am talking about Vinnie, Dime & Pantera more than ever before in my life. Telling complete strangers the story of the limo, and why it’s famous and special to us fans. Everyone that I’ve spoken to trips out, and they walk away a new fan of the band.
