Them: “You look like the type of girl who has herself as her background.” Me: “Yes.” I’m incredibly thankful for all the incredible people I’ve had around me in the moments when I’ve felt the lowest. And yes that means you 😌. The past year or so has been moving through so many transitions. Heartbreak. Injuries. Grief. And growth as always. Some lessons I’ve learned that I wanted to share with you: ❤️ Letting go and picking up - one must learn how to do both with ease. ❤️ Some words are best left unsaid - it’s not time and it may never be. ❤️ Community is everything. We need each other. No matter how strong or successful you are. ❤️ You can’t push people to grow before their time. You can’t force someone to be ready. ❤️ You can love infinite people, love is infinite. But your time and energy are limited. Choose who you pour into carefully. (This one must’ve been one of the hardest lessons for me as someone who believes love is boundless. Also maybe something for my poly folks :) ) ❤️ People can only go as far as they’re ready to, and as fast as they’ve prepared for. Find people who have done the work and are ready for what you’re ready for. ❤️ Life is about the transitions - all growth happens in the in between. Learn to master the grey zone.
