🍞please enjoy each of these unhinged photos of me and my first GF sourdough baby, equally💁🏻♀️holding my sourdough like a man holds his fish in his tinder profile, and my classic produce bigger than my face pose (the OGs here know!)
my facial expressions really don't have any volume control 😆I was extra amped/shocked because while baking this loaf, my parchment paper burned and there was some residue in our oven that made our kitchen smoke up, so I for sure thought this loaf was a goner. Had a slightly burned bottom, but otherwise it turned out a success!! GF sourdough is a very different process than gluten-containing traditional sourdough, and the bread looks/feels different too. This one was a buckwheat, millet, and brown rice mixture— and for those of you who knew Breadblok (RIP), it really was so similar to their buckwheat sourdough 😍 My scoring needs some work, but I was working with a knife and not a bread lame🤷🏻♀️
Will be sharing more on how I made my starter, and recipes as I play around and develop! And P.S. I did not plan on having pics taken in my jammies, but this t-shirt is kind of perfect😆
