Why go where the fence is the lowest when you can find a path with no fence at all? In today’s world, it seems that challenging oneself to be different is not the most popular approach to - well - anything. But if being popular is not your life goal, maybe you should give it a try. I’ve spent the last years working on developing my photographic style towards something that would flow naturally from within, not through external influences. Being unapologetically original is not easy but by being always aware that copying from others may not be the best way of achieving this, and just by simply doing what feels and seems right to you, you should at least theoretically be drifting towards the direction of your own. ✍️
