“I always thought part of the appeal of Happy Jacks was that it was situated in a place called Crucifix Lane, I know Andrew loved that. It definitely had an edge. The place had a cinematic feel, it was like walking into a fucking movie” @davidholmes_1969
For our Summer issue of Faith, @john_matthews pens a love letter to the one and only Sabresonic; a 600 people capacity weekly night held originally at Happy Jacks.
Set in an old railway arch underneath London Bridge station it proved to be the perfect venue to host Andrew’s unmatchable style of DJing.
Last few copies of the Summer issue are still available, order online to ready John’s wonderful feature.
Many thanks to John for the words and to @grantflemingphotography for the photos and flyers.
This article is dedicated to the memories of the Lord Sabre, Nick Noble, Big Rob McQuoid and each and every member of the Sabresonic Assault Squad.
