On the 1st to the 5th of September 2024, the Northern Ghana SRHR Conference for Young People (#NORGHA24) was held, it brought together the brightest minds, passionate youth and key stakeholders to tackle the most pressing issues in adolescent health and well-being. I was able to join them in person on the last day of the conference, I was excited at the chance to be part of something BIG Together, we were able to spark change, share ideas, and pave the way for a healthier future. Had an amazing session with Popebe the poet who made the entire auditorium came alive with his Poetry and music, met some amazing friends and students as well, in all it was worth it and i went home feeling secured that the future of our young ones is exactly where it's supposed to be, In their hands. Special thanks goes to Norsaac and the team as well as to all the youth networks and their safe spaces for their participation, learning and sharing of experiences, Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) for the counselling sessions. Songtaba Inspire to Act - Ita Activista Ghana, its Donor partners Axis OXFAM in Ghana Rutgers Power to Youth Ghana Unesco Ghana and collaborators Ghana Health Service for their continuous support in interventions that empower youth, adolescent girls and young women. Ghana RED Cross Society was also present throughout to ensure the safety of participants. I want to recognize the Moderators Marvin Selassie Ackuayi and Rahama Issah for thier amazing work throughout the conference , it was extremely lively and interactive..
