(Photo by Jesse Seigleman) Many who saw the craft flying across the sky believed they were looking at a comet, but it was in fact the SpaceX rocket which launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida at 7:32 p.m. A reusable, two-stage rocket designed and built by #SpaceX for transporting people and payloads into orbit (and Mars eventually), the Falcon 9 was carrying to orbit 52 Starlink satellites on Saturday as part of a satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX, providing satellite internet access coverage to 40 countries. #falcon9 #westhamptonbeach #hamptons
