We just had a black bear wander through the garden! @jynnne has been sending me videos of the bears in her garden all year, and it was our ardent desire to see one for ourselves. We were beginning to think it might not happen... but then this morning, while I was washing up, I caught a movement from the corner of my eye, and there it was: a bear, just strolling past the patio. Everyone else was asleep, but I didn’t want to take my eyes off him, so I shouted ‘Bear! Bear! Bear!’ until H & Bert came running. Absolutely brilliant.
