⚔️🐺 wake the white wolf 🐺⚔️ . . Over the weekend I had some dreams come true. I got to shoot as my first ever Dungeons and Dragons character, Freya, the half-elf ranger. She was raised by wolves, has a white wolf companion named Atka, dual wields shortswords - but can handle her own with a bow. She’s a crazy wolf girl, like me. 🐺 . Freya lived in my mind well before I developed her for dnd. My whole life I’ve been searching for fantasy content that was female led and driven. Where I could see myself as one of the characters in such a male dominant space. So in my searching, I just made up my own in my head - hence Freya was born. I’m thankful to then have had the opportunity to bring her to life at the table with close friends. I wasn’t sure what I was doing yet, my first time playing an RPG. But I fell into it, I dove head in cause Freya had been in my brain long before. She taught me resilience, that I can get through anything - she was my strength in an extremely traumatic time in my life. ⚔️ .
