My baby boy was born on September 21, 2014. I was so scared to become a mother. I thought the fun was over. I thought I was too busy to raise a whole child. I had never held a baby before Diego. But when he was born, everything made sense. My purpose was so clear. Me and Vlad created a love-baby together who is also our best friend. Diego the Magic Boy. He makes life so much more exciting because it's like playing an epic game of show-and-tell — sharing with him all the music, food, books, fashion, and art we love — and watching him absorb it all and interpret it in his own way. The results are this incredible sponge of a human who remixes everything he has learned and turns it into something completely new. He blows my mind every single day. He's our greatest teacher. I feel so lucky and almost a little overwhelmed that Diego is ours forever. Nothing else can ever top this treasure of ours — he's good as gold. I can't wait to see the major mark he makes on this world, but for now we're celebrating the big EIGHT. ❤️‍🔥 Thank you to all his aunties and cousins for loving Diggy so much and being our extended family.
