Another grey day 🙄 Thankfully, we’ve got indoor activities covered at West Cliff! Lucky enough to own one of only very few houses in Whitstable with a natural basement, we turned a functional but in-need-of-some-love sewing room into a games room to be enjoyed by all ages 🏓 We also have a projector screen in here so next on the list is wiring in a projector with Bluetooth etc so this can be used as a movie room too! 🎥 Swipe for the before. The art work isn’t quite what @helloflorauk specced on the moodboard (sorry Tracy 🙈) but, using some of the colours she picked out as inspiration, I got the kids to choose their own posters. Kit is a massive fan of War of the Worlds and Mahla is HP obsessed. As much as we share the house with guests, it’s important to have personal touches that really reflect you too isn’t it? The kids love them! I’m now on the hunt for a couple of easy chairs for the alcoves- the budget sadly won’t stretch to up-cycled cinema seats just yet!
