I have loved the LAB since my national youth theatre days. It is a space where I feel so at home. Today ‘A Consideration of All Bodies' featuring some of my recent work opened in the gallery at the LAB and I am super proud to have it there especially in the context of a show like this! The LAB Gallery presents, ‘A Consideration of All Bodies’, a group exhibition of work by Declan Byrne, Philip Kenny, Paul Moore, Hugh O’Donnell and Áine O’Hara. All the artists and the curator have disabilities. The exhibition is installed in the gallery and available to view from the street. It also has an online programme of events and discussions. If it's in your 5k, go have a look in the window and check out the online events which are planned! Link in my bio for more info! Image description: Image one: Two rows of three bright orange hospital chairs with yellow legs are seen for behind. The rows are both angled upwards so it would feel uneven if you sat on them. They are set up in front of a large window that looks out onto the street. The floor reflects the chairs slightly, it's grey with a speckled effect. Image two: I am standing outside the gallery with the chairs from image one in the background. I'm laughing, looking at the camera in an 'I can't believe my work is in there' kind of way @thelabgallery @artsanddisabilityireland @dccculturecompany @aconsiderationofallbodies @a4soundsstudios #aconsiderationofallbodies #thelab #dublincityartsoffice #weonlywanttheearth #access
