And breeeathe - you made it through the week. š
Haegue Yang's 'Sol LeWitt Upside Down ā Structure with Three Towers, Expanded 23 Times, Split in Three' turns 500 Venetian blinds into a floating silver forest at Tate Modern. Made in 2015, the work references #SolLeWitt (1928ā2007), a pioneering conceptual artist who made art by following self-imposed systems. @yanghaegue reinterprets LeWitt's 1986 floor-based sculpture 'Structure with Three Towers' by replacing the open sides, magnifying the overall structure 23 times, dividing it into three parts and suspending the work upside down from the ceiling. The result is a breathtaking environment where visitors often experience a renewed sense of space.
