Prime Minister Dr the Hon. Keith Rowley attended the opening ceremony and Hall of Fame Induction of the 53rd General Assembly of the Caribbean Broadcasting Union, held at the Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort in Tobago today (Monday 15th August, 2022). Under the theme "Media and Information Literacy", this year marked the CBU’s first in-person event after a two-year hiatus. During his Keynote Address, Prime Minister Rowley encouraged journalists in the Caribbean to see every story they write and "report within the history and uniqueness of the Caribbean condition."
