"The song is less than three minutes long, so as soon as Diolmhain the director asked me to come onboard for his one-shot vision I knew this was a great opportunity to shoot on 16mm film, all while keeping the budget down. We had two rolls of film which calculated to 6 takes in total, 3 per roll. We ended up loving all the takes on the second roll but none of the takes on the first, so we only sent away the second roll to be processed which was another great way of keeping the budget down. Film has always been my favourite format to shoot and watch along with anamorphic, so this being my first time using an anamorphic lens on film was a dream come true. I will always make a case for film for every project so I hope to get to shoot a lot more in the future."
