We had an amazing time gleaning apples and pears at @Brogdale_Collections, home to the National Fruit Collection. Brogdale has over 2,000 varieties of apples and over 500 varieties of pears! As well as cherries, plums, quinces and nuts. 30 amazing @TheFelixProject Felix #volunteers helped fulfil a juicing order and then had free reign to pick as many apples and pears as they could carry. In the end, the volunteers picked 352kg of pears and 610kg of apples which were brought back to our Poplar depot where they will be distributed out to charities and community organisations in East London.
