Saturday night was like part of my movie of life. The scene was exactly what I remember (going out to dance as a young girl just arriving to NYC) the underground, the factories turned into night clubs, the lights, the sound system, this time it was different, it’s me arriving as the dj! When I was told my set time was 11-1 (111) I understood the assignment deeply! I prepared myself in every possible way, musically, mentally, physically and most important spiritually ❤️ I believe music played right has the power to raise the dead (and trust that night they were there in that basement green room 👻 💨 🔥 ❤️) elevate and alleviate any soul that may need it, the dance floor is my church, the music is the healing and I am blessed, honored and grateful that I’ve been chosen to do the healing and empowering for any soul that may need it through my music, weather I sing it, play it or write it.
