Leah C. Stevenson, Esq. By God’s grace, I passed the California Bar and I am an Attorney! Obstacles and challenges are meant to be overcome and they prepare you for the greater success that lies ahead. Having failed in the past, I wanted to share that sometimes you are delayed, but not denied. I kept faith, worked hard, and stayed motivated by seeing the amazing success of my friends and peers. The more you learn, the more you evolve and I was able to takeaway some great lessons. With success come failures— The key is to never give up until the goal is accomplished. Everything in life that is worth having is worth fighting for. Just be determined, have faith, and preserve no matter what. It takes a village— Get a support system who prays for you, supports you, and uplifts you even when you doubt yourself. I am grateful for my friends and family who truly kept me uplifted in prayer and positive thoughts this entire time. Never give up on your dreams— Minor setbacks can be preparing you for a major comeback. There will always be unexpected events that happen along the way, but just keep pushing towards your goal. Life is a journey of ups and downs, ride the wave and try to enjoy it.
