One of my coolest friends (and extremely talented former adult gymnastics student!!!) Dexter asked if I could do a shelving install at her beautiful office. She had a washer dryer cutout/closet that she wanted converted into some pullout shelving for a printer and office supplies. I measured everything and 3D built it in Blender to make sure everything would work. I thought that if I had Anawalt Lumber cut the wood, painting, assembling, and installing would be a snap. Little did I know how wrong I was about the install, 😂. Getting the slides to stay in their tracks for the drawers to pull out the full 30+ inches would prove quite difficult for me. Luckily, I had a full day to work when no one was in the office because I screamed a number of profanities throughout the day (sometimes from INSIDE those bottom drawers, lol) every time something ELSE didn’t work. In the end, I got it all working smoothly and was pleased with the results. Dexter, thanks for your confidence in me and for helping me get this business off the ground (and for graciously putting up with my crazy emails).
