@voguegreece is out today, don’t miss it! Foodie wonderland This year, the holiday spirit hit me early on. I decorated my house in Athens for the first time, we baked gingerbread cookies, I lit all the Christmas candles at once, I am listening to Michael Buble on repeat and I have already eaten a lot of melomakarona (Greek Christmas honey based dessert) and panettone. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot! It’s the first time that I enjoy this holiday so much. For the past few years, these days were never how I imagined or wanted them to be. Stress, melancholy, loneliness and a bit of homesickness. However, this December found me in an office filled with laughter, with the best team anyone could ever dream of, in a kitchen trying the most delicious food and desserts – thankfully, he’s so talented in the kitchen - and attending festive dinners with lovely people. The issue in your hands is dedicated to the resolutions we make – or not – for the New Year, its pages are filled with people that inspire us, that make us feel optimistic and that make us see things a little brighter. I would like to wish for 2023 to be exactly as you imagine. Let it be a year filled with smiles that we‘ll enjoy more!
