We’ve lost some brilliant songwriters and magnificent people in the last few years. This photo was taken 12 years ago... Today I heard of Lamont’s passing. Too soon. For all the brilliance in their music ... just look at those faces and know what kind hearts and gentle spirits they possessed. Their music will live forever and rightfully so. Valerie and I Have worked together and been friends for a long time and there is enough light in her spirit to brighten decades to come. I will be forever grateful that I’ve been able to spend time elbow to elbow and heart to heart with these angels.
