When my family moved into this apartment back in the day there was just a sink and stove. No cabinets or counters. My parents put everything in many years ago and I did a few aesthetic budget friendly upgrades after taking over the apartment but dreamed of doing a real renovation one day. I worked hard, saved money and through my work I met my boyfriend Sebastian whose patience, determination, amazing carpentey skills and problem-solving mindset made this new kitchen possible. Last year I sat down with my friends @Barry + Jordan 🤎 and told them about my kitchen reno aspirations and together they came up with a design plan and helped put me in contact with the many dream vendors I worked with, like @deVOL. After four months of blood, sweat and many tears on my end, we finally have a beautiful and functional little kitchen in the only home I’ve ever known that will serve us for many years to come.
