Jasmine Meriedy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) when she was one years old. Currently a full-time college student at Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA, majoring in mass communications, Jasmine has always had a passion for #T1D advocacy. She was a JDRF Children's Congress Delegate in 2019 and says using her voice in Washington DC was an incredibly empowering experience, and it also made her feel like a part of a much larger community. “It helped me see that I’m not alone in the day-to-day routine of T1D and we are all fighting for a cure." There are TWO WEEKS left to get your applications in! Apply to share your story in DC next summer on Capitol Hill with 160 other Delegates from around the country and the world. Don’t wait, the application closes November 30! Apply NOW at cc.jdrf.org. #NDAM #ForwardAs1
