#thursdaythoughts... Friends and I sometimes refer to being human as experiencing a #bentoboxofemotions. 🍱(Look ma, I just created a hashtag. 😘). You know the experience when feelings are a mixture of things. Happy/Sad. Grateful/Heartbroken. Acceptance/Resistance. All of it coming from Love, some of it easier to allow than others. 🥺 Our cast album came out yesterday and my focus is on the wonderful and lasting evidence of what we created together, but I’m not gonna lie it’s a bit #brutiful for me to listen to. Emphasis definitely on the beautiful, but more than a tinge of brutal hearing the voices again of people I love so much and miss seeing on a daily basis.🥹 This show taught me again and again (and again) how Letting Go leads us towards the freedom of knowing ourselves more authentically. I will be forever grateful. Especially to @thejunkbunk, @kareykirkpatrick and @therealethanpopp for their soulful sensitivity guiding me towards bringing Miranda’s musical voice to life. I love you guys!!! (Ethan, don’t even get me started on our decades of getting to do what we love, frequently together! I am so proud of you! 😭) And I sure couldn’t help but smile at one of my favorite artists, @morganharpernichols, posting pictures 2 and 3 “just for me”😘 this morning.
