Had a nice morning with @tom__livingstone climbing on the Rognon des Cosmiques before the bad weather resumed. It was definitely a very brief window of good weather. We had time for a flash each of the Fissure Leroux in dry weather, and then a top-rope lap each while the snowfall resumed. The Fissure Leroux is a nice pitch, and recommended, despite the fact that, like many crack pitches in the Mont Blanc Massif, the rating (7a+) is soft. If the same pitch were in Index or Yosemite, it would probably be given 5.11b (6b+)... It is certainly easier than Leanie Meanie or the first pitch of Japanese Gardens! @patagonia_climb @petzl_official @scarpaspa @totemmt
