“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” This trip was a blessing for a multitude of reasons. From growing in faith, gaining perspective on why service is important, and an incredible time loving on Richmond, I was astonished by God’s work. It was so difficult and heartbreaking hearing the stories of many of these kids, but through God’s grace it allowed me to gain perspective on how our exemplification of the love and joy of Christ was the best way to serve these kids. More than anything, they needed to hear the gospel, and we were able to share that. For that, once again, God is so good. Thank you @weareelevate for this incredible experience. This ministry has had an incredible impact on my life and I could not be more grateful. I can’t wait to see how God keeps working through this ministry for years to come.
