Lower body gym workout as a pilates instructor who ALSO lifts weights! (Because yes, you CAN do both)
-hip thrusts 3x10
-squat (I used the pendulum squat machine) 3x10
-hip abductors 3x10 (finished with drop sets, meaning you gradually decrease the weight and go until failure each time)
-hyper extensions 3x10
-standing calf raises 3x10
I have felt SO strong recently. My combo of Pilates, lagree, and strength training has been really doing it for me. I’ve been focusing on really pushing myself, and prioritizing rest! That combined with quality food and sleep- you will see the results! Tag me if you try:)
**NOTE: these clips are sped up! I didn’t actually go that fast, I focused on going slow on the way down, and fast on the way up
