This past weekend, I said “yes” to our biggest adventure yet. While we were taking in the views at Horseshoe Bend, TJ got down on one knee and asked to spend forever together. Naturally, seeing him on one knee immediately brought me to tears (queue my ugly crying). Not only did TJ bring the engagement ring, he also brought a ring guard my grandmother left us when she passed away. He had her ring and the engagement ring perfectly customized as a set. I am still in awe and so honored to be able to wear and share the thoughtfulness and sentiment behind this set every day for the rest of my life. Granny would adore the new life given to this ring. In fact, one of her last conversations with TJ was “When will the wedding be?” after only three months of us dating. We’ll gladly take that as her approval and continue to giggle about how she “called it” when we share the story behind the ring. I can not believe I get to call this wonderful man my FIANCÉ. I love you, TJ, and I’m beyond grateful I get to spend the rest of my life with you.
