In celebration of Climate Week NYC, beginning today, Judd Foundation is pleased to share that we are a 2022 recipient of The Frankenthaler Climate Initiative award for technical assistance to develop a sustainable Collections and Study Center in Marfa, Texas. This is the second award Judd Foundation has received for our building projects in New York and Texas. This grant will allow Judd Foundation to work with environmental design consultants to help us achieve our goal of making this new facility carbon-neutral.
A program of the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, it is the largest private national grant-making program to support climate change action at cultural institutions and the only nation-wide program of its kind for the visual arts.
The 2022 awards conferred a total of $3 million to 49 different arts organizations across the United States.
