In September, Los Angeles-based artist and activist Shepard Fairey (@obeygiant) opened his expansive solo-presentation at @DallasContemporary Backward Forward, curated by Pedro Alonzo, which is on view until July of 2023. The exhibition highlights the evolution of Fairey’s career from the confrontational D.I.Y. style of defiant youth to a narrative of hope, equality and shared humanity.
