I was honored to receive the Rose L Schiff Commitment to Justice Award from @bettzedek last week. I am deeply grateful to our community of volunteers and donors who have shown up for us so we can keep our kitchen open, keep our mobile mental health services going, keep supporting those impacted by the wildfires and allow us to keep serving vulnerable communities on both sides of the border. I promise to keep showing up...When we started @thisisabouthumanity over six years ago - we were trying to answer a question, the question of who we were and how could we support our community. I am so proud to say that we are a community of individuals who continue to answer the call, come to bear witness, sign up to sponsor families and align ourselves with humanity. Special thank you to @angeliquecabral for presenting us with our award and to @_aldanasa for being such a light.
