✨✨ Please join us for a one-day sale of the entire contents of the art studio of late renowned Missoula artist, Nancy Erickson. ✨✨ Nancy Erickson worked in her home studio for more than 40 years, creating drawings, paintings and her signature painted quilted artworks that were often cut out in figurative shapes. Nancy’s artwork was exhibited and collected extensively by museums throughout Montana and internationally. This unique event is organized by artist Leslie Van Stavern Millar who was a great friend of Nancy’s. The sale provides a unique opportunity to collect unframed drawings by Nancy Erickson as well as artworks by other artists she collected. A huge selection of high-quality fabrics will be offered for sale, along with art supplies, sewing supplies, art making tools, photography equipment and an array of studio furniture. The revenues from the sale will be donated to the Missoula Art Museum (MAM), which holds a definitive collection of Nancy’s artworks, and the Montana Museum of Art and Culture (MMAC) at the University of Montana, Nancy’s alma mater.
