For me it’s more so about the experience, not just the end result. The feeling of having fluid thoughts in your mind that are important enough for you to write down and share first with yourself, and then with those you want to help in making it a reality. I grew up in Beaumont, Texas but my dad lived in Bevil Oaks, population 1,251 in the woods. The perfect place for a child’s imagination to run wild. I remember making boats and floating them in a near stream with my siblings. Dodging the banana spiders and indulging in honey suckles. I used to run into the kitchen where all our family photos were, a daily reminder of the love that surrounds me. I felt at peace in the trees. Hurricane Harvey took that childhood home and all those photos with it. But when we scouted this place, I felt it. That peace I used to feel as a child. That’s how I knew that this was it. This little place in the middle of Atlanta made me feel like I was back home. When I wrote this treatment I wanted to create a peace that people could appreciate and take with them in moments where they can’t seem to find it. As always thank you @laceyduke you’ve become one of my good friends and someone I truly respect and admire. @itsaarcher you’ve been here since day 1 and I’m proud to call you family.
