Tuesday I made the heartbreaking decision to put Brody down after the ER vet found cancer throughout his body. Brody has been my child and best friend for the past 13 years. From college to grad school to multiple career moves, he has been by my side. He loved coming to the training room or classroom, getting to meet all my athletes and classmates and I am so grateful for all the love that was shown to him. It feels like a piece of me is missing but I am so lucky to have been Brody’s mom for 13 years. I will miss everything about him every day. We don’t deserve dogs but I am grateful Brody chose me for all these years. I love you my sweet boy and I’ll see you again one day ❤️❤️‍🩹
