While getting fitted for her wedding dress, Morgan took a liking to the wooden privacy planter I made for my downstairs neighbor Kim (which I’m just now realizing I still haven’t posted...). Flash forward a few months later when Morgan and Jamie decided to put their house up for sale, and they asked if I could make two planters to fancy up one side. I think I had 4 days (well 4 partial days because I was picking kids up from school mid-day) to buy the materials and get it all installed before realty pictures. It was particularly complicated because the sidewalk slopes down away from the house, so every board had to be cut to accommodate that. That also meant that I was literally on the sidewalk with my saw and a drill, so I got to meet a lot of complimentary neighbors. I got it done just in time for Morgan and Jamie to pop in some plants. There’s nothing they touch that doesn’t result in perfection, so I’m proud to have a small part in yet another of their beautiful creations. I love you both and I know whoever is lucky enough to have bought the house is grateful for all the work you put into it.
