Happy Birthday to the Juneteenth baby who still does tequila shots like a champ, passes out in last night's makeup and clothes, and then throws on some sneakers and goes to brunch the next morning. This past year was the metaphorical rebirth I needed. Cheers to owning my strength, standing proudly in my light and finally loving my imperfections and getting comfortable in my own skin. Especially cool to celebrate my birthday in the city I was born: Washington, DC.
