In retrospective and after a few months, this failed dive (and the one the next day) is starting to feel like a successful lesson: today I wanted to share this dive to 60 m CNF (no fins) that was an attempt to break my own national record during #VB2021 Despite the beautiful feelings and the happiness of being able to dive after getting sick, I should not have allowed my emotions to overtake me. Unfortunately I did (this plus a mild hypoxia) resulting a failed protocol thus my second red card ever. Lesson learned and grateful to feel I’m making my peace with this!
