One of the best parts of Summer in LA is the arrival of melons at the Weiser Family Farms stand at the farmer's market. The sweet and floral sugar cube melons in Kato's Shochu Sour perfectly compliment the gentle white flower aroma of the French gentian aperitif, Salers, and blend seamlessly with the lactic tang of Calpico. The result is greater than the sum of its parts and we can't wait for it to come back on the menu next year.
