The India Basin Waterfront Park Project identified the court as an opportunity to connect recreation and cultural expression by installing a hypecourt: a colorful, graphic mural installed on the surface of a basketball court. The project team worked with @ninapicasso , a local artist who is a part of the Hunters Point Shipyard Artists community, and a cohort of local youth to create designs that reflect themselves.
