At least 7 people lost their lives in connection with the attack on the Capitol, and hundreds more bear scars, battle wounds, psychological trauma, and more. In a @CBSNews Poll this week, 56% of Republicans described the January 6 Capitol Attack as “defending freedom,” and only 34% of Republicans strongly disapproved of the day’s events. Now more than ever it’s clear that we must continue the fight to defend our democracy and our country. And I hope to make a part of that fight as simple as a follow or a share.
