Guys!! ❤️ absolutely over the moon and completely thrilled to share with you the press release for my novel, I’M NOT NORMALLY LIKE THIS. What started as an Instagram caption in 2019 turned into a story that has consumed my soul for more than five years and I’m so incredibly proud and honoured that Elodie has found her home with @boroughpress and @williammorrowbooks at @harpercollins I feel well qualified to write about the messiness of life right now, this year has been a rollercoaster of extremes but writing is a way to make sense of the world and I hope so much that this novel will feel like that kind of friend, the one who feels slightly uncomfortable when you cry in front of them so they make a joke so now you’re laughing and then they give you a hug and actually they’re crying a bit too now so you go back to judging the avoidant attachment style of their situationship over a cinnamon bun until it’s time to go home. I really hope it feels a bit like that.
