Am I wrong for not “up selling”? I truly believe my clients trust in ME to give them my honest opinion. Sure I could tell them every single time they need a haircut and profit off of it but truthfully I’m not that kind of person. Same with color! If someone doesn’t need 3 extra bowls during their color service because their hair looks bomb, we’re not doing it!!!! I want my clients to trust in me with the health of their hair as well as their maintenance. I would LOVE to see my clients every month or 2. But realistically getting your hair done is pricey. Especially the increase of all products across the board on top of rent/utilities/groceries. I want them to invest in their hair and feel good about that in my chair. I believe in charging your worth YES. But in a truthful way as well. ❤️
