Perfect if you want an epic (and emotional) fantasy series with war strategies, betrayals, magic, and complex characters. • ‘The Green Bone Saga’ by Fonda Lee: This trilogy is a modern gangster family saga with an incredible magic system and tons of political intrigue. It's urban high fantasy at its finest. I’ve only read ‘Jade City’ (for now) and can’t wait to read ‘Jade War’ and ‘Jade Legacy’. • ‘An Ember in the Ashes’ by @Sabaa Tahir: I read book 1 the moment it came out because the author's name is so similar to mine and l've never regretted it. This quartet is one of my favorite YA fantasy series and has beautiful character developments. I also loved that it has multiple POVs. • ‘The War of Lost Hearts’ by @Carissa Broadbent: I’ve only read ‘Daughter of No Worlds’, but it had such a big impact on me and I can’t wait to read the rest of this trilogy. If you want an epic fantasy romance with dark magic, vengeance, amazing main characters and the most original premise, don’t hesitate to pick this series up. • ‘Artefacts of Ouranos’ by @Author Nisha J Tuli : The first sentence of ‘Trial of the Sun Queen’ is one of the best l've ever read.
