It all started 10 years ago at this little place called Herndon Career Center. I got to leave high school a half of day for 2 years straight to start focusing on my passion & training to become an amazing chef. I remember competing in competitions back then, and that’s what really made me develop a true love for this field. I honestly never knew where it would take me. Hell, I used to lie about wanting to be a chef because every time I searched the salary back then it was wayyyy less than everyone else’s dream job. To know that I’ve become an inspiration to many just by chasing my dreams has been one of the most difficult things to accept but humbling and super grateful to be in the forefront. I’ve finally accepted it though lol! Throughout these 10 years I’ve been through so many ups & downs, but I wouldn’t change a thing that I’ve been through, a door that I’ve opened for others in my city, not a gah damn thing! I’ll take all of the burns, scars, tears, messed up plates, chefs not responding back for advice, rejection, failed recipes all over again!! God, I thank you for keeping me on the path that you’ve had me on 🙏🏾 To another 10 years of killing the game!!!
